Welcome to Simon Jowitt, your online PGA Golf Professional. I serve Branshaw Golf Club & Silsden Golf Driving Range as the Head Professional and have worked in golf since 1997. During my involvement with the game of golf I have acquired valuable experience in every aspect of the beautiful game and where possible I pass on this experience to my valued members & customers.

Golf started for me as a nine year old boy when my Father 'Keith' decided to open a golf driving range in Silsden in 1990. I spent my first two years hitting bucket after bucket of balls until I felt good enough to venture onto the golf course. My first official Handicap at the age of twelve was 28 and by the age of fifteen found myself playing off 1.8. At the age of sixteen I applied to the Professional Golfers Association to enrol onto the PGA Diploma which has now enabled me to get involved in the teaching of golf as a PGA Level III Coach.

As a young Professional I bring a very modern approach to coaching, custom fitting, and club customisation. I am privileged to be a member of the Approved Cobra Custom Fit Team and use the latest technology to ensure each consumer is provided with a five star service.
